My Remember Me Weekend

Hello, my name's marie and I thoroughly enjoy procrastinating.  Ha, as if y'all haven't already noticed.

So my weekend with Ang, cutie and Tasha couldn't have been any better....well, it might have been if Mr. Tybert had joined us himself during private screenings of RM the two times we watched it.

Now I can confirm the suspicions I originally had of these three girls before I met them, which is ---->>> they all are all beyond wonderful!  They're extremely smart, funny and beautiful.  Plus, it felt like this wasn't the first time I had met them.  It was as if we were four friends who hadn't seen each other in awhile.  Fun times!

Let's see....there was a moment when we all cried our little hearts out, and this particular moment I speak of did not happen during the movie.  However, we did have plenty of moments that ended with us laughing like a pack of hyenas (trust, I've got videos to prove it).  I also think the girls realized I was never over-exaggerating when I type "*snort*", because I truly do snort A LOT.  Seriously, my nose and throat hurt by the end of the weekend.  And, incidentally, my snorting caused someone else *coughTashacough* to snort right along with me at times.

As for what I thought about Remember Me?  I absolutely loved the movie.  I think both Rob and Emilie played their roles very well, I actually believed them to be in love on the Big Screen.  I giggled at the silliness and I cried, oh how I cried during the parts that pulled at my heartstrings.

Anyhoozle, before the 2nd trip to the movies we decided to make a stop at B&N, and that's where I came across this beauty:
I had to have it, so I bought it.  The girls can confirm this, I carried this book and hugged it close throughout the day.....as if it was my 2nd child, really.  It made me feel closer to Tybert.  'Nuff said.

In honor of the girls coming out to visit me, I've decided to share some of the things they themselves, or possessions of theirs taught me.

cutie aka my TAT
cutie taught me that slipper socks always rock, even if they're Easter themed.
My feet thank me for these, daily.

I learned from cutie that the Peppermint flavored tea at Starbucks is a
definite winner, especially when you're walking around B&N,
carrying said tea and a stack of six books for an hour.
Yeah, your arms tend to hurt after awhile.

cutie taught me that she stands behind her promises, because
she won't mind when you grab her hand during the
Eclipse trailer and hold it for dear life.

Most importantly, cutie taught me that she will willingly
encourage Drago's O.C.D. tendencies
by organizing all of the air fresheners he keeps stacked in
the side compartment of his truck.  Yes, he collects these.
He SAYS they still smell like cherry......uhhhh, yeeaaa-no, maybe if
you scratch and sniff while holding them directly under your nose.

Tasha
I learned from Tasha that sprinkles does the body good, and this is probably
the most important lesson that has been embedded in my brain.  Why?
Because Sprinkles says so, that's why.

And Sprinkles taught me that nothing can happen unless
it's stamped with a "Sprinkles Approved".
 Yep.

Tasha taught me that she'll gladly lay on a bed and take a
crap-load of random pictures with you.
Sprinkles Approved.

I learned that you may not want to take Tasha with you to the movies if
you're extremely anal about watching the previews before the movie,
because the girl cannot say no to clothes and a dressing room.
Yeah, yeah, we made it in time to see the previews with
five minutes to spare....but again, I'm anal.

Ang
Ang taught me that pomegranate flavored beer is a must, seriously.
When the ice cream truck rolled by earlier, I thought about how
said beer should be sold right along with the Nestle
Drumsticks and the Orange Creamcicles.

Ang's hotel key-card taught me that it should not be placed in the same
pocket as your cell.  Apparently it will no longer unlock hotel doors.
Then, sadly, you'll be stuck outside with a creepy drunk dude who
almost gets hit by a car while nodding his head
and bidding you a "Good Morning".
FYI, this happened well before midnight.

I learned from Ang that it is completely acceptable to own a laptop
that you have saved COUNTLESS RobPorn pictures on.
This laptop is like my new best friend.

Ang taught me that there are other people out there, besides me,
who wouldn't think twice about molesting carefully undressing Sparkleward
in the most proper way, then take pictures of him:
Ang, thank you for unknowingly letting me steal this picture.
We can attest to Sparkleward having freakishly weird hair-sprayed hair,
a very toned and sparkly torso,
and a Ken Doll nub underneath the front of his jeans.

All three girls
The three girls together taught me that even if you've never met each other
before in person, it's completely fine when you moan during certain scenes
of Remember Me or the Eclipse trailer because they won't judge....it's normal.
Now crying is an entirely different matter, especially when
someone has already read the script.
*points at Ang*
Evidently crying is not normal.

P.S. The nub does not sparkle. No sparkly nub.

Thanks for sharing your adventure! It's hard to explain to RL friends and family how important "bloggy besties" have come to mean to us. Awesome you girls got to meet. Sounds like a blast.

ha ha I was planning on doing something really similiar picturewise with my Sparkleward aka eWard!

eWard is currently finding himself doing something different each month. Mike Newton was the unfortunate victim of eWard's April Fools' day joke. And with prom coming up, well, let's just say eWard is looking to get lucky prom night and chooses his date accordingly!

Come see pictures at my site! thanks for following. I love finding likeminded chickadees that pose and play with dolls! You two are funny!
