My One Year Twitterversary

One year ago today I finally decided to join the world of Twitter,
and the person I have have to thank for that is PFach himself.
Before said world of wonderment came into my life,
I'd spend half of my day making the Twi-bloggy rounds and
pining over every little scrap of Twi-related news that
came out each day. It was one of those days that I
stumbled across certain blogs that were trying to help
PFach reach his goal of 500,000 followers
on Twitter. What did I do?
Signed up and became a
follower, of course.

One whole year later, I'm glad I created an account because
there are many things I've learned this past year, such as if you're
having a bad day or if it seems like life's being a major bitch while
kicking you to the curb, there is always someone on Twitter
with a kind heart who can brighten your day and bring
a smile to your face with just a few tweets or dm's.

I've also learned that drunk dm's and tweets are all the hype these days.
And just remember, you may not want to read your own
drunk dm's and tweets the next day, but there's ALWAYS someone
out there who will enjoy them.... thoroughly.
And, *whispers* Leigh's drunk dm's are the greatest.
The girl can't spell to save her own life.

Through my Twitter experience, I've also learned that
there are people and a few things that I can't live without.
For example:

1.
I cannot live without the one and only robmusement herself
and all the delicious Rob pictures she twitpic's each day.
Seriously, the girl deserves to have Rob all 

to herself for a week or two.

She shares wonderful gems like this one.

2.
My Bill, Becky_Boodles, because we share a brain and she's
the surgeon out of the two of us. Plus, SnowRob was
technically her her idea. Such a genius.

3.
My female soul mate and Inchworm, Arielle. 

Because what's a Beaver without her Inchworm.
She makes me a very happy marie!

4.
And kg, I can't forget about her!
This girl is so hilariously funny!
All I want to do is fly myself over to Alaska,
kidnap her and then keep her with me forever.
That cool with you, kg?
I'll have my people contact your people so we can set something up.
*winks*

5.
I want to say I can't live without my Twinsie B, or my wifey Tasha,
but that wouldn't be true since I've had to live
without them on Twitter for months now.
They both played a part in welcoming
me to Twitter and I love
them both dearly!

6.
I obviously can't write up this post without mentioning
the one who first gave me the reason to call
myself a Screenlicker, the incredible Ang!
If you're not following her,
you're an idiot.
Just sayin'.

I most certainly cannot live without my TAT, cutie!
All does not feel right in the world if I don't have
at least one conversation going on in dm's with
her everyday.  She is a key-holder to my
Burrito loving heart, and not to mention
the key she secretly keeps for the
Den of Lurve as well.

 *giggles*

8.
And, of course, I refuse to live without my one and only S.N.
and bloggy partner in crime, Leigh! I can't even thank Twitter
enough for bringing the two of us together. Who knew
that waking up each morning to a "Morning Sunshine"
dm would be something you'd look forward
to each and everyday. Yes, we really
do that. It's been our tradition for
almost a year now and I doubt
we'll stop anytime soon.

Leigh, you are the bestest webernet friend ever!
We will meet one day, that's a promise!

And last but certainly not least, here's a few other people that
I truly adore and have been good friends to me this last year on Twitter.

The lovely Ella, my boobin twin Aly, the lovely Meg and her Rob flask,
the ever hilarious Greta, my fellow George Strait lover Desiree,
the funny girl herself Smuts, mah booboo kittah, the wonderful Memory 

and her lifesaving skills, Maccy and Knitty who are the most awesome 

Robcessories ever, the beautiful Betti and her buttons, the one and 

only Firecrotch, Mrs. V. who is the most sweetest and creative person 

ever, sjAimee who likes to hide in the closet with me, my lovely 

friend Annie, lelu because I'm her Denise, King Seb who rules 

over all awesomeness,Amber and her delicious dreams, 

and the ever wonderful fragile!

I know there are probably MANY others out there on Twitter, 

all of whom I could mention, but I just sat here and went through 

the entire list of peeps that I follow.  Plus, I'm ready to end

this ridiculously long, sappy-ass post.

To my dearest marie,

I am so thankful you were such a lurker and got sucked in to the 

world of Twitter. We may have met under, erm, strange circumstances,
but from the moment you said hi I knew we would be great friends! 

You are my nuts, sparkly boobed, hat wearing friend who 

is the first person I communicate with most mornings – yes through 

the “morning sunshine” daily dm!

We have the same taste in music, vamps, hot guys 

(including sneaky photos of hotties. I’m still waiting on that cowboy?), 

rooftop adventures, tequila, blog ideas, cactus lovin and alter egos. 

And while we may disagree on tomatoes and beer,

I won’t ever hold that against you *winks*.

I never thought I could be so close to someone who is so far away. 

But our actual friendship anniversary is next month, so for almost a year 

you have made me smile and laugh every single day and 

I can’t love you enough for it! 

As you know, Rob and I are pretty tight *snorts* 

and he just wanted to say that a little birdy told him it was your anniversary....

He didn't believe it at first. But he was high. 

And that he is going to send you signs to let you know he’s thinking 

about you.  Every time he runs his hands through his hair,
smokes a cigarette and doesn’t shower, that’s lit’rally a 

sign for you OK? Keep an eye out for it!
Oh and he even sent you a tweet. See??
