An Open Letter to Bill Condon

Dear Breaking Dawn Producers,

I have a bit of a bone to pick with you... you are putting a rift between marie any myself! You see we are, and have been since the start of this blog, on two very different teams. The lovely marie is a twi-pure through and through and I on the other hand will dry hump a cat to get a look at some set pictures. This has been fine – admittedly a little testing during the “let’s release a clip of every scene in New Moon” phase, but in general I do not spam her inbox with spoilers and she does not frown upon my spoiler ways. (marie: *shifts eyes, hesitates before speaking* I may or may not have caught a glimpse at ten or so BD set pics. Shhhh!)

The leaked pics, videos and commentary coming out of Rio at the moment... I think this is great but marie not so much. (marie: *nods*) Plus the fact I’m a big bully who wants to corrupt the twi-pureness isn’t really helping the situation.

I know I’ve got my fellow spoiler whores (and practically everyone in my Twitter feed) to discuss the leaked pics like this one of Robward preparing himself for the ocean dip:

marie: I....I..... can’t stop staring. *blinks* That’s just wrong on so many levels.

Just kidding twi-pures... I hope you didn’t close your browsers!! But because of the amount of pics and lack of more details I feel the pressing need to discuss them with my bloggy bestie – marie this is totally your last chance to join the dark side?? *winks*

So Producers (and Rob if you’re reading, I know you are) if you could be so kind as to just send me the Breaking Dawn script so we have the inside scoop on costumes, dialogue, moonlight swims and pillow biting, we would make this fandom a much better place for the twi-pures.

marie: I figured I should weigh in a little here about what I think. Yes, I admit to seeing about 10 set pics, but have been avoiding Twitter like the bubonic plague ever since then. I do miss the days of staring unabashedly at my computer screen while New Moon was being filmed, but I, however, enjoyed seeing Eclipse so much more since the entire movie wasn’t spoiled for me like NM was.

And Leigh, if that dark side includes Rob standing there waiting for me with open arms.... naked, then I’ll be the first to hitch a ride onto the freight train heading straight into that darkness of Twi-spoilers. But, until then, I think I’ll continue to be Twi-pure and not ruin all of Breaking Dawn for me.
